This website is dedicated to the First Year Seminar Course entitled,
“In the Footsteps of da Vinci”
As in the title, the objective of the course is to understand how the present day life experience can relate to how da Vinci lived and worked. He lived during the renaissance which is described as,
“ the transitional movement in Europe between medieval and modern times beginning in the 14th century in Italy, lasting into the 17th century, and marked by a humanistic revival of classical influence expressed in a flowering of the arts and literature and by the beginnings of modern science.”
Now, as was then, we live in an era of momentous changes. Each era however is different. We will compare his era and hours in class today (10/09/19).
